I Lead Me

A Leadership Development Certificate Program For Managers

I Lead Me is a coaching-led leadership development experience designed to strengthen the people-leadership dimension of the manager role. Participants deepen self-awareness while building greater confidence and intention in how they lead people, navigate complexity, and influence across the organization.

Through facilitated group sessions, individual check-ins, and real-time application, participants work with the leadership situations they are navigating now—strengthening both how they lead themselves and how they lead others.

Program Overview

The Reality Managers Are Navigating

Managers today are expected to lead across functions, influence without authority, manage competing priorities, and navigate complexity — often with limited preparation for the people-leadership realities of the role.

The challenge isn't motivation. It is that the people side of leadership requires awareness, new skills, and practice — and many managers are expected to develop those capabilities while already doing the job.

I Lead Me creates space to strengthen them intentionally, while working with the real situations managers are navigating now.

Who This Is For

What You'll Walk Away With

I Lead Me strengthens the people side of the manager role through applied coaching and real leadership practice. Participants work on situations they are actively navigating — not hypothetical case studies — building practical leadership capability in real time, grounded in self-leadership and applied to how they lead others.

A clearer sense of how you lead — a clearer understanding of how you lead, how your style lands with others, and how it shifts under pressure or complexity.

Stronger communication — greater confidence in giving feedback, navigating difficult conversations, and communicating with clarity and intention.

Greater accountability and alignment on your team — knowing how to set clear expectations and follow through in a way that's consistent, not reactive.

More confident decision-making — especially in ambiguous situations where there is no obvious right answer.

The ability to lead across boundaries — influencing peers, partners, and stakeholders in other functions without relying on authority.

A sustainable approach to leadership — strengthening habits, awareness, and practices that support effectiveness over time.

A Coaching-Led Learning Experience

I Lead Me is designed as a coaching-led leadership development experience, not a traditional training program. Every session is built around the real leadership situations you're navigating right now.

You bring the challenge. The coaching conversation helps you think through it more clearly, decide more confidently, and act more effectively. This coaching-centered structure keeps the program grounded in real work, reinforces accountability, and supports the development of sustainable leadership habits over time.

What Participants Say:

"Unlike run of the mill leadership courses we have taken, NKL's approach is more personal and inviting. Overall a very great experience filled with new approaches to leadership."

"Before this program started, I expected it to be like many of the leadership courses I’ve taken, where corporate initiatives are pushed on you. I was pleasantly surprised that the focal point here is really about me—my own awareness and the people I lead.”
